Tecore Networks will exhibit at the American Correctional Association’s 2027 Winter Conference at the Phoenix Convention Center, January 7–10.

ACA’s winter meeting is one of the largest gatherings in American corrections, drawing agency directors and commissioners, wardens and superintendents, IT and communications leadership, purchasing officers, accreditation managers, researchers and line staff from state, federal, county and private systems. Few weeks in the year put that range of decision-making in one building, and ACA’s 2027 program again names advancements in technology across all disciplines among its central themes.

That theme arrives at a moment when the questions facing agencies are unusually open. The FCC’s contraband wireless proceeding remains pending, drones continue to expand the ways contraband reaches a facility, and agencies are being asked to make technology decisions while the federal picture is still moving. Sorting out what is lawful today, what is genuinely proven and what is still a proposal has become a practical problem for anyone writing a specification or defending a budget request.

Tecore’s Managed Access Evolved (MAS-E) platform addresses that environment directly: identifying unauthorized cellular devices in real time, capturing the identifiers that allow carriers to permanently disable them, supporting secure and uninterrupted communication for staff and authorized users, and giving agencies visibility into communication activity across a facility.

Tecore welcomes the opportunity to meet with correctional leaders in Phoenix to compare notes on where the federal framework is heading, and to talk through what agencies can lawfully put in place today.
