National Thought Leader to offer insights, lessons learned in effectively addressing growing public safety crisis

Washington, D.C., February 7, 2018 – Tecore Networks, a pioneer supplier of innovative American-made mobile network infrastructure and the inventor of the iNAC™ Managed Access Solution, announced that its Founder and CEO, Jay Salkini today will join with policy makers, corrections officials, wireless carriers, and other key stakeholders in a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) meeting focused upon mitigating the growing risks associated with contraband cell phones operating within the prison system.

“For the Corrections Industry, our focus and experience is in the design, deployment, and operation of Managed Access technology,” said Jay Salkini. “We are happy to share our key Managed Access experiences with the FCC, Cellular Providers and key corrections officials in an effort to determine the most appropriate solution to cease contraband cellular communications. We are also hopeful that these discussions expand beyond the technology to define a path for funding these systems.”

For over a decade, Tecore Networks has been at the forefront of deploying a comprehensive solution for correctional departments across the country. Crafted from a cellular based solution, Managed Access takes a sophisticated approach to restructuring communications by differentiating user groups and enabling polices for each. The delicate balance of signals, parameter sets, and timing is what allows the system the freedom to operate inside the walls while minimizing any impact to devices outside the wall of the institutions. Tecore’s iNAC, has been deployed in a number of facilities since 2008 and continues to successfully evolve over numerous years and generations of cellular technologies.
