Tecore’s technology foundation is the iCore®, a software-defined all-IP core network that incorporates the key components of scalability and industry compliance in an x86 design. The effectiveness of the architecture and design has allowed the product to evolve across multiple generations of wireless from 2G to 5G. In addition, Tecore also offers a CoreCell product line of Software Defined Radio (SDR) base stations. Following the standard architectural split of Base Band Unit (BBU) and Remote Radio Head (RRH) infrastructure, the CoreCell product line leverages X86 based SDR processing and IP connectivity to a comprehensive set of Radio Heads across all standard commercial bands in scalable power and configuration.
As wireless moves to its 5th generation, Tecore Networks continues to provide solutions that evolve with it, while continuing the support of legacy generations using the iCore®.

Jay Salkini
President & CEO
Jay Salkini is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer at Tecore Networks. Mr. Salkini has envisioned, developed, and patented wireless technologies that have been installed in mobile networks around the globe.
Leading the company since 1991, Jay Salkini has secured more than 20 patents for wireless solutions which have allowed Tecore to win various awards over the years, including three Global Mobile (GSMA) Awards for Best Roaming Product/Service Award, Best Radio Access Product/Service Award, and Best Technical Innovation Award.
Under Jay’s direction the company has advanced to be the sole US-made manufacturer of multi-technology 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G mobile core and radio access network infrastructure. Since 1991 through an ever-changing landscape, Mr. Salkini has transformed Tecore’s products and solutions into a new market within the wireless industry. During this time, the company has expanded its product portfolio, deployed mobile networks around the globe, and secured key industry validations.

For almost 30 years, Tecore Networks has been a leader and proud innovator of cellular network infrastructure. In both cellular and Managed Access, Tecore has researched and developed a solid foundation of secure and reliable patented technology.
Tecore has been the leader in transiting knowledge of wireless networks to effectively prevent illegal communications before they occur. Tecore’s Intelligent Network Access Controller (iNAC) Managed Access System (MAS) achieves the appropriate balance between communications control within the walls of an institution and a harmonized deployment with the surrounding commercial wireless networks. The solution leverages multi-technology wireless support, as well as the methods of access control outlined in the nine specific Managed Access related patents Tecore holds.
